Recently the National Medical Council has put forth new guidelines for research paper publications required for appointment or promotion of teachers in the Medical colleges. Apparently, this is to promote research in medical institutions, enhance the quality of research and publications, and increase scientific temperament among the medical fraternity in the country.

As a result, we bring an innovative webinar program – The Journal Club – wherein we discuss a recently published research paper from a peer-reviewed journal with a good impact factor.   While discussing the paper’s methods and merits, we try to generate new and innovative research ideas, find unique study questions, and learn different research and statistical methods.  We shall also provide tips and tricks to make the research and publication process easy.
